Sample ImageRomans 12:1-2 is one of my all time favorite verses.  I first memorized it (along with Psalm 119:11) as a teenager while going through Disciple Youth (a discipleship program for teens).  I have read it, re-read it, quoted it, written it, preached on it etc. for about twenty years.  I can quote it verbatim in three different translation and have paraphrased it times beyond counting when speaking extemporaneously to various groups and individuals.

How this plays out in ministry terms is in my eyes being drawn to other ministry opportunities.  I think I might not be alone.  It seems, anecdotally, that most pastors have one eye out for those proverbial greener pastures.
